| V-SIGN (1) Definitions: i. A sign that you make by holding up your hand and making a V-shape with your first and second fingers. When the palm (= inside part) of your hand is facing towards you, the sign is used as a way of being rude to other people. ii. In Britain, a rude gesture which is made by sticking up your first two fingers in a V shape, with the palm of your hand facing you. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and believed necessary by who makes sign. 2. Directed appropriately to who is considered as deserving. 3. Hand with sign will be held up for adequate length of time. 4. 'V' will be clearly seen by who committed an 'offensive' act. 5. Purport of sign will be understood by the concerned person(s). 6.
