| UPROAR (2) Definition: A situation in which there is a lot of public criticism and angry argument about something that somebody has said or done. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the members of the public involved. 2. The thing that was said or done had or will have an undesired impact or effect on the public. 3. Criticism will be genuine, detailed and directed appropriately. 4. Arguments will generally be for and against. That is, proponent(s) of what is being kicked against will also speak out on why position is tenable, or better, and should be adopted or accepted. 5. Situation will last for a period considered as reasonable. 6. Achieves objective(s), without an unplanned loss, especially to human beings or animals, the environment or ecosystem. 7. Never allowed to degenerate and get out of hand, such that damage to or destruction of public and/or private properties occur.
