Purposeful and necessary, for a fisherman and the fish. 2. Fish gets the food, whatever the quantity, and hook gets the fish. 3. Line with hook is able to be pulled up, from, or out of river, etc. 4. Fish caught by hook is of the right species and appropriate size. 5. Hook is not damaged as a result of the weight or size of fish. 6.
