| UNILATERALISM Definition: Belief in or support of unilateral action, especially the policy of getting rid of nuclear weapons without waiting for other countries to do the same. ______________________________________________________________________ * The pillars of belief or support of action would or should be based on any, few, some or all of the conditions below: A. Expectation is that belief or support will serve some purpose - peace, progress, development. B. Recognition exists that risk, threat, danger, etc. are still present, before belief or support that decides to get rid of nukes, is adopted or given. C. Condition adopted by unilateralist will not be taken as an outcome of being threatened, persuaded or arm-twisted. D. Designs, acquisitions, models, prototypes, orders placed for new deliveries, research or research and development on advanced technologies, pertaining to nuclear weapons or weapons of mass destruction, etc. would be cancelled, abandoned, destroyed, etc., as applicable, by party with belief or support. E. Proposed method or manner of destruction will not cause a problem for the environment or ecosystem, a neighbouring country or another country, etc., etc. F. Acts or actions that will be taken to get rid of items will be disclosed to and, if required, observed by others, especially by those still with similar lethal weapons. G. Policies and engagements that will be formulated and participated in by who gives up nuclear weapons, after surrendering same, will not encourage its (= weapons of mass destruction) resumed or continuous development and/or acquisition. H. No demand will be made, afterwards, by organization or government that gets rid of weapons, for payment, compensation, etc. on account of making the world a safer and better place for all. I.
