| UNHAPPINESS Definition: The state or quality of being sad, in low spirits; not pleased or satisfied with something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would, very sadly, be in. 1. Brought about by known reason(s). That is, cause or causes is/are specific and/or identifiable. 2. Occurrence or happening is unexpected. In other words, event is/was not hoped or planned for. 3. Situation is 'passing'. That is, unhappy state is expected to last for a brief period, with the certainty that 'difficulty' will soon be over. 4. Self-cultivated. In other words, causative factor(s), is/are produced, permitted or tolerated by the unhappy person; not beyond his/her control. 5. Results in some loss - of resources, honour, etc. - to the unhappy person. 6. Borne solo or alone.
