| UNEXPECTED Definition: (usually - the unexpected) If something is unexpected, it surprises you because you were not expecting it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements could or might be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, whether this is known or not. 2. Thing was neither predicted nor projected and/or forecast. 3. No suspicion or hint to bring about an anticipation or a readiness. 4. Nature or science cannot be used to justify the occurrence of the thing. That is, not 'the usual' and cannot be said to be 'in season'. 5. Will be ... 'welcomed'. That is, there will be steadiness to study and appreciate the thing before the conclusion that it is a surprise - not a shock! - is arrived at, whether or not adequate preparation can be made for what or whatever will be. 6. Thing can or will be reacted/responded to timely and appropriately, where possible and if reasonable to confront and/or deal with event or situation. 7. Thing is specific and identifiable, measurable and/or assessable. That is, cause of surprise is not a 'tale', phantom or bogus claim. 8. (Reserved.)
