| UNEVENNESS (4) Definition: (of a contest or match) The situation in which one group, team or player is much better than the other. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have situation. 2. Not unexpected. That is, protagonists are aware of the strengths and/or weaknesses of the opponent(s), before start of contest, etc. And strength or advantage is natural, not obtained by illegal or unauthorized means. 3. There will be no bias or incompetence in officiating on the basis or excuse of one party being stronger than another (to emphasize, connect to #4). 4. Rules will be unchanged. That is, competition will still be expected to be on a 'level-playing field'. 5. Contest or match will take place (to emphasize). 6. Result or outcome of competition will justify expectation.
