| UNDERSHOOT Definition: (of an aircraft) The act of landing before reaching the runway. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Never planned or desired (or practiced for!). 2. Reason(s) or cause(s) can be known/traced. 3. Aircraft will be immediately or quickly towed away, before it causes a serious delay for other in-coming aircraft. 4. Damage that will occur to aircraft will be considered as minimal. 5. No loss of life will occur from mishap! That is, pilot, crew, passenger(s), etc. will all be safe and promptly and safely evacuated, if necessary. (To emphasize.) 6.
