| UNCONSCIOUS (1) Definition: (usually - the unconscious) (psychology) The part of a person's mind with thoughts, feelings, etc. that they are not aware of and cannot control but which can sometimes be understood by studying their behaviour or dreams. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, even if believed irrelevant. 2. Specific and identifiable, even if arduous to locate. 3. Measurable and/or assessable, no matter how difficult. 4. Accessible and can respond or be responsive, whether predictably and/or even if or when it is 'dormant'. 5. Does not or should not ordinarily result in a loss, embarrassment, delay, etc. for person concerned. 6. Part is never truly 'unconscious'.
