| UGLINESS (2) Definition: (of an event, a situation, etc.) Having an unpleasant or dangerous quality; involving threats or violence. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Will be generally unexpected and therefore unprepared for. 2. Condition will be ordinarily inescapable or unavoidable. 3. Probable or expected consequence(s) of unpleasantness or danger, threats or violence cannot be ameliorated, conquered, assuaged, etc. 4. Loss or losses are the most likely fallout from the state. 5. There will be no desire to dare or experiment in the situation. That is, it will not be believed that any positive gain would be obtainable from ugly state. 6. A hard and bitter lesson will be learned at the end of event, situation, etc. that will result in carefulness in the future. 7.
