| TUG OF WAR (1) Definition: A sporting event in which two teams pull at opposite ends of a rope until one team drags the other over a line on the ground. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful to have particular event. 2. Necessary for participants and organizers. 3. There would be an equal number of 'musclemen' in the teams. 4. Line on ground is permanent and visible and static. 5. Officials are fair and competent. And the rope is strong. 6. No injury will be suffered by any member in team and/or an (the) official(s), in the course of exercise. 7. Lasts for duration considered reasonable (connect to #8). 8.
