| TRIUMPHALISM Definition: (disapproving) Behaviour that celebrates a victory or success in such a way that is too proud and intended to upset the people you have defeated. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary for the celebrant(s) to behave in particularly negative, annoying way. 2. Victory or success was genuinely obtained. 3. Loser or the defeated party put in best efforts. 4. No possibility of triumph being reversed or annulled in the future. 5. Behaviour is exhibited timely, when it can be fully seen and its impact or effect fully felt. 6. Victory will not be considered Pyrrhic in the end. 7. There will be a readiness or preparation to cope with the likely response or reaction to annoying behaviour. And an unplanned loss will not arise, for the winner(s), from the likely reaction of the loser(s) (to emphasize). 8. If a 'repeat' or similar competition is held again, between same opponent(s), it will be won, again, and cleanly still, by the proud victor. 9. Act achieves goal(s), for the person with the intention to cause an upset.
