| TRIER (1) Definitions: i. (approving) A person who tries very hard at what they are doing and does their best. ii. A person who tries very hard at the things they do, although they are not often successful. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers serious efforts necessary. 2. Directs his or her best shots to the most positive ends/paths. 3. Keeps at task until convinced on the need to discontinue 'struggle'. 4. Not expecting or waiting for applause, commendation, praise, etc. 5. Does not cheat to achieve aim(s). That is, efforts will be genuine. 6. Will try again, another time, especially if a previous try failed. 7. Will be satisfied in the end. That is, will not be disillusioned or despair, even if no success is achieved. 8.
