Trick or treat
TRICK OR TREAT

Definition: An activity in which children knock on the doors of houses at Halloween and shout 'trick or treat'. If the person who answers the door does not give the children a treat, such as sweets or candy, they play a trick on him or her.

1. Purposeful and necessary, especially for the children.

2. Children will be dressed appropriately! (To emphasize.)

3. No house with a door will be excluded while doing activity.

4. Knocks or knocking will not damage knuckles, destroy tools, etc.

5. 'Ghosts', 'witches', etc. will not give ultimatums as to desires.

6. Prank will be reasonable or gift will be appropriate and special.

7. No unplanned loss will be suffered during 'play' by those involved.

8. Lasts for a period of time that will be considered as reasonable.

9. (Reserved.) (Refusal of person to give the children a treat - where applicable - will not be the result of the stinginess of who answers door! That is, a trick that will be played will achieve the expected goal(s) or serve some planned purpose(s).
