| TRIBUTE BAND Definitions: i. A group of musicians who play the music of a famous pop band and copy the way they look or sound. ii. A pop group that plays the music and copies the style of another, much more famous group. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for group to be 'copycats'. 2. Playing and copying will be properly done. Therefore, group will not be booed or slow handclapped during performance. 3. Number of members in band will be approximately the same as that of the much more famous group. 4. Acknowledges the creators/originators of rhythm/beats or moves/styles, etc. especially before a performance. 5. Members will not impersonate the 'Masters' (to emphasize), especially after performance. [And will bear a different name!] 6. Will not pay 'royalties' or true tribute to the famous band. 7.
