| TRIAL BALLOON Definition: Something that you say or do to find out what people think about a course of action before you take it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary for utterance or action to be used as a 'test run'. 2. Thing is assessable and/or measurable. That is, it is audible, can be seen, understandable, etc. In other words, comment, remark, activity, etc. was fully or completely provided. 3. Not disclosed to the 'guinea pigs' as a means of measure. 4. Thing is said or done timely, to help achieve goal(s). 5. Response or reaction, or maybe an overreaction or even an inaction, is obtained from the others. That is, talk or act serves purpose(s). 6.
