| TRAGEDY (1) Definition: A very sad event or situation, especially one that involves death. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Not exactly prepared for, even if expected or suspected to occur when it does happen. That is, event or situation is not wished for at the time of occurrence. (See perfect HOPE (1).) 2. Something that could have been done to prevent, stop, delay, postpone, etc. sad event or situation was not done or was done inappropriately. (See perfect HELPLESSNESS (1).) 3. An ability to cope with the immediate impact or effect of the outcome of event, etc. is not possessed. And extent of consequence is great, devastating. (See perfect FORTITUDE.) 4. A serious loss will be suffered as a result. And no vital lesson will be learned from calamity. (See perfect HARDSHIP.) 5. The right understanding or appreciation of the fallout or consequence of sad event, situation, etc. is had. (See perfect INTESTACY.) 6. Burden that event or situation will bring cannot be made lighter or shared in any way, for the period that it will last. (See perfect LOW POINT.) 7. Event or situation will be gotten over with or forgotten, after a relatively short period of time. (See perfect LAMENTATION.) ___________________ * TAKE HEART.
