| TRADING FLOOR Definition: An area in a stock exchange or bank where shares and other securities are bought and sold. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (to emphasize). 2. Manned by registered 'traders' who are qualified, competent; effective and efficient. 3. Properly equipped with the latest technological gadgets and facilities to assist in conducting transactions. That is, the communication facilities, air conditioning, etc. will be in good working order. 4. Listed equities will be active. That is, place will be vibrant during trading hours, leaving no room for noticeable lulls. That is, place will serve purpose(s), as exactly hoped for. 5. Official conduct of traders will be only in legal endeavours and there will be no violation of the internal rules of the floor. That is, honesty and truth will always prevail in the activities that take place in the area. 6. Area will be safe, secured and protected from unauthorized entry. 7. Environment within and outside place will be clean, neat and tidy for all who are in or who will need to get into the area. 8.
