| BIRD STRIKE Definition: An occasion when a bird hits an aircraft. ______________________________________________________________________ * Both elements would be in. 1. Hit or strike does not pose a danger to the aircraft. That is, bird does not get sucked into plane's engine or cause a damage to body of aircraft that leads to an aborted take off, an unplanned diversion, an emergency landing, a crash, etc. 2.
