| TOUGHNESS (4) Definition: (of a person) Being physically strong and likely to be violent. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1. Physical strength is genuine. 2. Strength is sustainable for desired duration. 3. Movements, appearance, dressing, looks, etc. will be deliberately to show capability. And there will be no display of self-restraint, no proof of belief in dialogue, discussion, compromise, etc. 4. A possible adversary will not be dodged or avoided, even if the (an) 'enemy' seems stronger, meaner and/or looks more troublesome. And a plea or pleading for mercy or leniency or forgiveness will be rejected or turned down by 'toughie'. (But person will not go around looking for where to display raw power!) 5. Will not lose or be defeated in a fight.
