| TOMBOY Definition: A young girl who enjoys activities and games that are traditionally considered to be for boys. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Young girl is not a hermaphrodite (to emphasize). 2. Activities and games are participated in with the boys. 3. Does not get injured as a direct result of 'roughness', which would not occur if activities and games were of the girls' kind. That is, suffers no physical injury as a fallout of being 'boyish'. In other words, she's healthy and fit enough for the 'rough and tumble'. 4. Does not get taken advantage of by the young boys. And/or does not take advantage of the young innocent boys! That is, girl maintains her good name or dignity (= virginity?) while in boys' company or throughout the period. 5. Can and will sometimes participate in girlie activities and games, even if this involvement will be slight and/or grudgingly. 6.
