| TOLLING Definition: The act of ringing a bell slowly and regularly, especially to announce a death. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to inform others about a passing. 2. The passing will be confirmed as having certainly happened. 3. Sound of bell will not be too loud or considered as 'disturbing'. 4. The details or picture of the dead will be known or held by who rings bell. 5. Happens or occurs in the right neighbourhood(s) or area(s). 6. The corpse, if available, would not have been buried or cremated. 7. Act will continue or last for an appropriate or adequate period of time. 8. Who rings the bell or provides info would not be seen wailing. And will return home, on completion of task, safely and in good health. 9.
