| TOASTMASTER Definition: A person who introduces the speakers at a formal dinner and calls for people to drink something together in honour of particular people (= proposes toasts). ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers it a necessity. 2. Appointed or selected in good time. That is, has an authority and therefore, some ample period to prepare for task. 3. Introductions and request for others to join in drink, are made flawlessly. That is, diction, pronunciation, etc. will be excellently delivered or uttered. 4. Details of honourees, as announced or read, are not mixed up or do not contain a mistake or an error, to cause an embarrassment or lead to a need for an apology. 5. Selects, in consultation with organizers, the drink and joins to take same with all the others, but only after honourees and guests have started to sip or quaff theirs. 6.
