| TO-ING AND FRO-ING Definition: (British English) If you say that there is a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, you mean that the same actions or movements or the same arguments are being repeated many times. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, to continuously repeat thing. 2. Destination(s), direction(s), point of view(s), etc. are those desired or planned. And all will be specific and identifiable. 3. Repetitiousness will be explainable, if not authorized or approved, even if determined or ordered by law, rule or regulation, custom, tradition, etc. 4. No fallout or unplanned loss will arise or be suffered as a direct result of repetitiveness. That is, it will be a 'blessed going out and coming in'. 5. Actions or movements or arguments continues or lasts for period desired or hoped for (connect to #4). 6. Time 'wasted' in rigmarole will not be that meant for some other serious or important endeavours. 7. A better understanding will be achieved with each repeated action or movement or restatement.
