| TITHE (2) Definition: (in some Christian Churches today) A tenth of a person's income, that they give to the Church. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful. (See perfect WAGE.) 2. Necessary to give part of income. [See perfect COMMANDMENT (2).] 3. Source is not illegal, immoral, illicit (See perfect GODLESSNESS.) 4. Amount or sum is after what is due to the earthly authority had been paid or deducted. (See perfect TAX.) 5. Given timely, quickly, as soon as possible ! [See perfect PROMPTNESS (1).] 6. Payment is in the appropriate form - cash!, not cheque, draft, etc., unless a previous arrangement was agreed on, with pastors/priests, etc., to pay by some other method(s), as some will take any coin or note ! (See perfect HARD CURRENCY.) 7. Sum must be exactly a tenth - not an approximate or estimate, especially if this will be lower! [See perfect CALCULATION (1).] 8. Voluntarily surrendered ! That is, giver does not have to be cajoled with a promise of Heaven, on payment, or threatened with the inevitability of hellfire, if not paid, before hard-earned cash is parted with.
