* All eight elements would be in.

1. Purposeful and sadly thought necessary for 'lazy' worker.

2. Person was not really enjoying the work before the period.

3. New job has been secured or retirement date is definite.

4. Little work is done to the best of the person's abilities.

5. Other worker(s) remaining will not be influenced to do a 'go-slow'.

6. No reduction in wages, overtime pay, gratuity, pension, golden handshake, etc. will occur to the 'indolent' worker. That is, he or she will not be on a performance-related pay, to be negatively affected by the low productivity.

7. Loss that will be suffered by employer or company will be insignificant. And no major undesirable impact on an economy will arise from the decision of employee to be 'half-a-worker'.

8. On no condition will time-server return to the same 'desk' again, in the future, either as a result of being engaged again or on securing a contract employment. That is, no direct fallout, on soon-to depart/retire employee, from the wrong attitude to work.
