| TIDE (1) Definition: A regular rise and fall in the level of the sea, caused by the pull of the moon and sun; the flow of water that happens as the sea rises and falls. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements should be in. * This is not about some flow. 1. Purposeful and necessary - as determined by nature. 2. Points that water rises and falls will be deemed as safe for the people - divers, rescuers, etc. - and sea creatures - fishes, plants, etc. - connected with changing levels. 3. Regularity is predictable with the seasons and/or weather conditions. That is, the times that sea will have different levels as it rises and falls can be known and therefore prepared or planned for. 4. No unplanned loss will arise as a direct outcome of the regular rise and fall in sea levels. 5.
