Definition:

i. (phrasal) (US, informal) Publicly criticize or express contempt for someone.

ii. To make a public show of contempt for someone or something, often in a subtle or non-verbal manner.

2. Basis of criticism or condemnation will be factual.

7. No unplanned loss will arise as a direct outcome of going public with critical point of view. That is, no litigation, fisticuffs, etc.

8. The public will benefit from revelations made. That is, some real good or positive will be the end result of criticism, derision, etc.
