| TEST (1) Definition: [ ~ (on something) ] An examination of somebody's knowledge or ability, consisting of questions for them to answer or activities for them to perform. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful (to emphasize). 2. Considered a necessity. 3. Questions have specific and identifiable answers. 4. Activities are practical and doable exercises. 5. Examination will have rules - duration, aids or assistance, etc. - that are acceptable to person being tested. 6. Given at a time considered appropriate, (to think or calculate) for answers or (to prepare or plan) for actions. 7. Examination will cause person to think seriously or make performer to expend considerable energy. (To emphasize.) 8. Questions are not drawn up, or task assigned, by who is to take test and it is not disclosed, beforehand, to somebody else, such as to give him or her an advantage over others, if any! 9. Answers can be properly marked or activities performed can be rightly assessed. And some good or a lesson, can be got or learned, from the score, grade, rating, etc. obtained.
