| TERSENESS Definition: The quality or state of using few words and often not seeming polite or friendly. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for user. 2. An ability to be verbose is possessed. 3. No unplanned loss will be suffered by the person speaking or writing, from the decision to use few or fewer words, and seeming impolite or unfriendly. 4. Message, meaning, intention, etc. will still be clearly understood in spite of economy of words. That is, the words that will be selected and used will be the right ones. 5. What is saved by way of space, time, material, breath, etc. is or will be appropriately made use of. 6.
