TEMPERAMENT (2)

Definition: The tendency to get emotional and excited very easily and behave in an unreasonable way.

1. Purposeful - the intention of the behaviour, not its outcome (= the unreasonableness).

2. Nature of the person/animal is temperamental (= impatient, tense, hyperactive, etc.).

3. Reasoning, thinking or thought is shallow, hurried.

4. Cause is misguided or basis of act/action is weak.

5. Demand(s), request(s), if any, is/are selfish and/or dubious.

6. No real benefit accrues, in the long run, from the situation.

7. Purpose(s) is/are served, even if only temporarily, by the unreasonable behaviour.

8. Tendency lasts for only a tolerable period of time, and does not get out of control ... until 'madness' is repeated again.
