| TELLING Definition: The telling of a story or of something that has happened is the reporting of it to other people. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary by talker. 2. Intention to talk (= speak) will be made known. 3. Attention of listeners will be secured before commencement of utterance. 4. Narrative style will be okay. That is, an understanding will be achievable from how story is reported. 5. All that is relevant and necessary will be narrated clearly, promptly and truthfully. 6. Clarification or questions, where required or asked, will be given or answered, as soon as possible. 7.
