| TEE (1) Definition: A flat area on a golf course from which players hit the ball. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Size or measurement of area is considered adequate. 3. Grass or grasses in area is not too thick or overgrown. 4. The soil of area or the ground in area is in the right condition for the tee (= a small piece of plastic or wood that you stick in the ground to support a golf ball before you hit it) to be usable. 5. Ambience or surroundings is conducive. That is, immediate vicinity is quiet, still and/or noiseless, especially just before ball is hit, even if achieved by official holding up 'SILENCE' boards. 6.
