| TAXI (2) Definition: In some places in Africa, a small bus with a driver that you pay to take you somewhere. Taxis usually have fixed routes and stop wherever passengers need to get on and off. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Registered, insured and identifiable as a cab. 3. Bus is roadworthy. Therefore, vehicle is ordinarily expected to get you safely to destination. 4. Driver is licensed and in the right frame of mind while behind the wheels. That is, he or she is not expected to break traffic rules and regulations or go through 'unapproved' routes ! 5. Bus is very clean, neat and tidy - in and out. 6. Fees are affordable. That is, negotiations on fare, if not fixed, are concluded and agreed on, before passengers get on/in. 7.
