| TASKMASTER Definitions: i. A person who gives other people work to do, often work that is difficult. ii. If you refer to someone as a hard taskmaster, you mean that they expect the people they supervise to work very hard. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Has an authority or a mandate on which expectation will be based. 2. Target(s) set by 'supervisor' will be realizable, even if considered difficult to meet. 3. Will makes no promise and give no assurance of reward for accomplishment or achievement. 4. Can't or won't lift a finger to help or assist. (To emphasize.) But will give a clue or hint, if required. 5. Instructions or directives, orders or commands, etc. that he/she will issue will be lawful and realistic. 6. Will not underpay or shortchange worker/employee. That is, all the entitlements due to 'slave' will be given to hard-worker by 'the boss'. 7. Usually closely monitoring performance or activity.
