| TARDINESS Definition: Having a quality of being slow to act, move or happen; being late in happening or arriving. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Reason or cause is known; specific and identifiable. 2. Not ordinarily desired, planned or wished for. 3. No serious loss, embarrassment, sanction, etc. will be suffered as a result of slowness or lateness. And a lesson will be learned from the situation. 4. Efforts will be made to avoid a repeat of situation. That is, corrective or redemptive actions, where possible, will be taken afterwards. 5. Quality exists for period considered tolerable, before an enormous loss is suffered as a result of slowness or lateness. 6. No excuse will be attempted to be given for slowness or lateness.
