Swerve
SWERVE

Definition: (especially of a vehicle) A sudden change in direction, especially in order to avoid hitting somebody/something.
______________________________________________________________________

* All seven elements would be in.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Change was engineered by the driver or an alert passenger.

3. Happens at the 'nick' of time (to emphasize, see definition).

4. Return to previous direction can be made after 'escape'. That is, balance of vehicle will not be lost as a direct result of change.

5. No loss, damage, etc. occurs to vehicle as a consequence. That is, vehicle does not hit an unintended person/object, while trying to avoid or in the process of dodging somebody/something.

6. Driver and/or passenger(s), if any, will not suffer or experience an inconvenience as a fallout of sudden change.

7. Who or what was avoided was not the person/thing that should have been hit - as can happen in a deliberate hit-and-run situation or as will be required in a contract killing!, etc. That is, no regret arises from avoidance!!
