| SUSPICION (1) Definition: [ ~ (that ...) ] A feeling that somebody has done something wrong, illegal or dishonest, even though you have no proof. ______________________________________________________________________ * Any, some or all ten situations may suffice. 1. The visage or looks may give away the 'culprit' - ashen-faced, sweaty, etc. 2. A slip of the tongue gives out clue(s) that the person is the likely 'guilty' party. 3. No other person, in the circumstance, can be considered as a 'suspect'. 4. Action or behaviour is suggestive of the person's 'guilt' - lack of composure, unnatural stammering, restlessness, etc. 5. Attitude points to the probability of the person being the 'guilty' party - fidgeting, uneasiness, taciturnity, etc. 6. Newly acquired possessions, habits, company, etc., with no convincing explanations, is symptomatic of this person's 'guilt'. 7. This person exhibits an absolutely uncalled for overconfidence or a lack of confidence, in respect of the issue at hand (connect to #5). 8. The condition of the person is unnatural and can only be indicative of his/her 'guilt' - trembling, in a 'recoiled' state, inexplicably confused, etc. (connect to #5). 9. Person gives explanation or justification for the wrongdoing, even before he/she is asked, or when not asked at all. 10.
