| SURVIVALIST Definition: A person who prepares for a dangerous or unpleasant situation such as a war by learning how to survive outdoors, practising how to use weapons, storing foods, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers it a necessity. 2. Knows for sure that upcoming situation is inevitable. 3. Preparations are as near to reality or a real situation as possible. That is, outdoor locations, type of weapons, kinds of ammunition, storage methods, etc. will be close to what is to be expected when future situation arises. 4. No unjustifiable external help or support from another person will be used or employed during preparations (to emphasize). 5. Learning, experimentation, etc. does not result in an unplanned loss such that person will be at a disadvantage when war, etc. starts. 6. Preparation lasts for a period of time considered appropriate. That is, what has to be learned is started and completed before danger or unpleasantness arrives. 7.
