Thing happening is different from the (an) expectation or a prediction; not foreseen (connect to #2). 2. Happening was not quite prepared for; no readiness for 'shock', suddenness or 'emergency' (connect to #3). 3. Timing of happening will be 'inappropriate', whether it catches the unprepared off guard or while in suspense (connect to #4). 4.
