| SUPPLICANT Definition: (formal) A person who asks for something in a humble way, especially from God or a powerful person. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers modesty or humility a necessity. 2. Prayer request is specific and identifiable (to emphasize). 3. (Reserved.) (Needs the thing asked for, believes it can be given and knows what to do with thing, if and when request is granted.) 4. Starts demand by genuinely asking God for the forgiveness of past misdeeds, transgressions, etc. Or, if asking from a person, by apologizing for past errors, oversight, etc., if any, that would or could have been committed against him/her, known and unknown. _____________________ ... TRULY HUMBLE, (read: sincerely sorry) 5. Will address expected benefactor in the proper way, calling God or man/woman the full 'official' names - not nicknames, aliases, first name, etc. And the approach with which demand is made, will be serious, respectful to and deserving by God Almighty or the titan. 6. Gives no conditions to who is expected to grant prayer. That is, no limitation of time for request to be granted, no threat of discontinuance of relationship if request is refused, etc. 7. Will ask openly and clearly from God or the powerful person - not through a proxy, by letter, indirectly, etc. That is, what is wanted or needed to be given will be stated in unmistakable terms and directly to the Maker or heavyweight. ___________________________ ...
