| SUBSIDIZATION Definition: The act or process of giving money to somebody or an organization to help pay for something; to give a subsidy. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Appropriate preliminary steps before release of funds are ensured concluded. That is, demand or request, analysis or assessment, approval or authorization, etc., etc. are conducted or secured. 3. Giver is buoyant; financially sound and economically solid - can't go bankrupt as a result, whatever amount is given out. 4. Money given out is not borrowed funds! Or giving out of money does not lead giver to borrowing in the long run. (To emphasize.) 5. No corrupt practices are involved in process, from calculation to approval to processing to disbursement to application to accounting. 6. What is helped paid for directly benefits person or organization that is the recipient/receiver or beneficiary/user. 7. Amount is considered adequate and helps. That is, the balance that would be needed to pay for full cost of project/service/product, etc. will be affordable by person or organization. In other words, act or process will serve purpose(s). 8. Money is given completely or in full. 9. Sum of money is paid and received timely. 10. Payment(s) can be reviewed. And a monitoring and/or mechanism for accounting for its use will exists in the situation. 11.
