| STYLE (6) Definition: The correct use of language. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. * [See perfect word-painter.] 1. Purposeful and necessary, whether usage is understood or not ! 2. Place where used is right. That is, listeners/readers, etc. will be proper ones - won't complain or misunderstand what is being said or what is written down. In other words, no unplanned loss will be suffered as an outcome of correct usage. 3. The form of the language is not mixed with another, even if both are correctly used. (To emphasize.) 4. Time or volume taken to speak or write correctly will not be considered as wasted period. That is, speed or space take to communicate will be OK. 5. Effective and efficient.
