Definition: [ ~ (over/through something) ] An act of making a mistake or mistakes and stopping while you are speaking, reading to somebody or playing music.

1. Preparation, planning, rehearsal, practice, etc. was made or done for event in which mistake or mistakes is or would be made.

2. An improvisation, ad-lib, etc. can be adopted in the situation. That is, slight 'correction' can be attempted on mistake or mistakes.

3. Pause period is very brief such that it won't be easily noticed.

4. Attracts no sanction, punishment, embarrassment, etc. - no boo, slow handclap, query, - whether immediately or much later.

5. Speech, reading or playing can continue after unplanned 'pause'.
