| STUDY (1) Definitions: i. The activity of learning or gaining knowledge, either from books or from examining things in the world. ii. The art, science or process of acquiring knowledge, especially from books. iii. A close and prolonged process of observation, inquiry and thought. iv. The application of the mind in order to get knowledge. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Specific and identifiable, whether a subject or a range of topics. 3. Measurable and/or assessable, in parts - section, verse, chapter, etc. (as applicable). 4. Undertaken and completed timely, to help achieve purposes(s). 5. Relevant to the times - ancient or modern (connect to #2). 6. Lasts or continues for appropriate period of time, even if life-long, where necessary (see definition 2). 7. All bodily faculties of the person studying are working excellently. 8. Happens in a conducive environment. 9.
