| STRETCHER (1) Definition: A long piece of strong cloth with a pole on each side, used for carrying somebody who is sick or injured and who cannot walk. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Length and width (= measurement) of cloth is appropriate for who will be carried in thing. 3. Cloth is clean and neat, tidy and hygienic, whatever the colour(s). 4. Poles are made of the right material(s), strong and durable, but must not be too heavy for those to carry stretcher. 5. The uncovered part(s), if any, of the poles will not be dangerous to grip. That is, should be smooth and convenient to hold. In other words. won't ordinarily cause an injury to lifters or 'patient'! 6.
