| STATION (1) Definition: A place where trains stop so that passengers can get on and off; the buildings connected with this. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. * This is not about the buildings. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Marked or identifiable, especially on approaching and/or on arrival at place. And signposted outside and around its vicinity. 3. Structures in and around place are well-built; solidly and strongly. That is, vibrations, etc. will not damage buildings, etc. in the long run. 4. The station agent, supervisor(s) and workers are always on duty. And these employees are efficient (helpful) and courteous (kind). 5. Adequately equipped and well-lit, especially at night. That is, required facilities or services will be present in and around station. In other words, basic essential provisions such as taxi rank, phone booths, public conveniences, CCTVs, etc. will be available. 6. The place, and especially its facilities, is clean, neat and tidy. 7. Safe, secured and protected, especially for the passengers. 8. Never overcrowded! That is, the space that structure and buildings occupy, and its platform(s), will be generally adequate to guarantee a relaxed and assured visit. 9.
