| STATE OF AFFAIRS Definition: If you refer to a particular state of affairs, you mean the general situation and circumstances connected with someone or something. ______________________________________________________________________ * Reference will be reliable if all seven elements are in. 1. Development or origin of situation and circumstances is known, interesting or dull, new or old, helpful or a hindrance, etc. 2. The dynamics of the connection that results in the particular situation and circumstances are familiar or can be familiarized with. 3. A desire exists at the time to either change or sustain the situation. That is, there can be no nonchalance displayed concerning thing or an attitude of 'I don't care' shown towards the issue. 4. Can be interfered with, if necessary, using the instrumentality of the law, especially where the public good and/or the environment or ecosystem will be served or protected, by a lawful intervention. 5. Remains or continues for duration desired or designed. That is, general situation and circumstances will not exist ad infinitum. 6. Person or thing connected will be fully aware of the events, actions, processes, etc. surrounding his/her/its presence. 7.
