| SPORT FOR SPORT'S SAKE Definition: The activity of doing a sport without a desire for the conferment of glory or an official recognition. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the 'amateur' sportsperson. 2. No rule or regulation will be broken in the course of an event. 3. No competition or contest will be entered or participated in. 4. The period of time spent will be a spare and the minimum available. 5. No recording of times, distance, etc.; no monitoring of 'progress'. 6. Research or experimentation on a sport, will not be subscribed to. 7. No rant and rave, if the (an) equipment is faulty or unavailable. 8. A regimen, if any, or a post-exercise task, will be adhered to. 9. Paraphernalia will not be auctioned later for a material benefit. 10. The body will not be pushed to the limit; not record-seeking. 11. Sportsperson gets desired satisfaction or comfort from workout. 12. No damage to a facility, the environment, an ecosystem, etc. ___________ APPEALING. | |
