Definition: The education of children who have physical or learning difficulties.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Educators are qualified and competent.

3. Syllabuses, curricula, etc. are approved by the right authority or relevant authorities. And these are strictly adhered to in the course of teaching the challenged children.

4. Environment is made conducive for learning activities. That is, facilities, provisions, vicinity, etc. will be available in adequate quality/quantity and be in such a condition that they will help the challenged children to comprehend or assimilate lessons more easily.

5. Provided timely, vis-a-vis the age(s) of the children concerned.

6. Teaching methods or methodologies do not upset the children.

7. (Reserved.) (Appropriate and thorough monitoring of the teachers and students take place, constantly or regularly.)

8. The examinations taken and the results and certificates issued by schools, or qualification(s) obtained, by students, etc. will be meaningful and/or suitable for use in the larger society.

9. Education serves purpose(s).
